The Student Executive Council, being the apex students’ body, has responsibilities pertaining to the overall conduct of the college. Having a first-hand experience of 6 months as the Cultural Representative of Section C, I understand that representing our college on a cultural platform is an honour and duty.
As the Cultural Secretary, my agenda would include cultivating an inclusive environment that encourages people to follow their talents. Upholding our legacy of all the events, from open mic nights to Xpressions, may it be offline or online, I would bring in fresh ideas along with the cultural representatives of both batches - senior and junior. I have always believed in the phrase - “ न कालमतिवितन्ते महान्तः स्वेषु कमतसु ” | Loosely translating, it means duty above all / duty cannot be delayed. I have been learning Hindustani Classical Music for the past 16 years of my life, which is why I know that art, dharma, duty and patience go hand in hand.
I was the Cultural Secretary of both my undergraduate college and my school, which has
equipped me with the confidence to take this responsibility. Working under SEC has given me a chance to get a sneak peek into the journey ahead, which I have been trying to learn and understand better since day 1.

A true embodiment of Duty, even at the cost of his own health, personal difficulties. Nothing makes him shirk away from what he is meant to do. An absolute darling of the section and most of the batch, he has always put the needs of the section first above his own. His mesmerising voice has been the source of relief in every stressful situations. He is the kind of calm and level headed person we need to be at the helm of student affairs. He deserves to be in SEC.
