Student Executive Council
Xavier Institute of Management, XIM University, Bhubaneswar
The Student Executive Council (SEC) is the apex student's body at XIMB. It oversees the functioning of the various committees, presides over all student activities, and acts as a liaison between the student body and the administrative authorities of the college. The body is led by the General Secretary and consists of the Treasurer, the Cultural Secretary & the Joint Secretary.

The Council is the forum for discussion with the Director, Dean (Academics), and Dean (Administration) on issues affecting the student body. The primary function of the SEC is to facilitate the smooth functioning of all the student activities at XIMB. Xpressions, the flagship annual B-school fest & the Business Excellence Summit, is conducted and organized by the SEC. Other responsibilities of the SEC include scheduling the academic calendar, allocating and budgeting funds for the committees, induction for the incoming batch, conducting and moderating elections to all positions of responsibility throughout the year, and resolution of conflicts of interest.
